Organizer WB Evenementen has been organizing combined fairs for collectors of coins, medals, paper money, stamps and postcards for many years. This previously happened at locations throughout the Netherlands. It has now been decided to organize major international fairs only three times a year with the Expo Houten as a permanent venue. These three fairs mentioned each take place in a fixed period of a calendar year.
COINS & PAPER MONEY FAIR.At this international collector's fair, the hall (3300 sm) is completely filled by dealers (exhibitors) with coins, medals and paper money. There are also promotional stands of numismatic associations (clubs) and there is a stand of the Royal Dutch Mint (KNM) with, among other things, a special exhibition issue. Partner of this event is IBNS Netherlands (Association of Paper Money Collectors).Main sponsor of this event is HERITAGE AUCTIONS EUROPE.
Nowhere in the Netherlands can you find a fair that attracts so many collectors with this area of interest.
STAMPS & POSTCARD FAIR. Simultaneously an international fair for collectors of stamps, postal items (letters) and picture postcards is being held in a second hall (2200 sm). This second fair exists since 2016 and is organized in collaboration with the ASSOCIATION DOCUMENTATION POSTCARDS (VDP). At this combined event, both halls are linked together into one whole and there are also stands where matching accessories are offered. The next edition of this 24th COINS & PAPERMONEY FAIR and 9th STAMPS & POSTCARDS FAIR is scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, 2024. NEW YEAR'S EVE FAIR HOUTEN. This two-day international event was planned from 2020 but will be organized from 2022 due to Covid. According to tradition, this always happens in the period between Christmas and New Year. At this international fair, the largest exhibition hall (3300 sm) is completely filled with sellers of stamps, postal items and picture postcards. There are also promotional stands of philatelic associations and a PostNL stand with, among other things, a special fair issue. There are also stands at this event where matching accessories are sold. Several thousand collectors are expected every year at this by far the largest stamp fair in the Netherlands. This 3rd NEW YEARS FAIR HOUTEN is scheduled for the weekend of Saturday/Sunday 28th and 29th December 2024.
During this event and only on the first day of the fair, a second hall (2200 sm) will be connected for exhibitors with coins, tokens and paper money.
Numismatic associations (clubs) also present themselves in this hall with a promotional stand.
This "coinhall” is open only on Saturday, December 28th, 2024. FILANUMIS. At this international collector's fair, the hall (3300 sm) is divided into two equally sized departments. There is a section for sellers of coins, tokens and paper money. Numismatic associations (clubs) also present themselves here with a promotional stand. In the other department, stamps, postal items (letters) and picture postcards are offered to collectors. Philatelic clubs also present themselves in this department.
There are also stands at this event where matching accessories are sold.
The 14th FILANUMIS is scheduled for Saturday, April 19th, 2025. SPONSORS The collector fairs of WB EVENEMENTEN are organized without any financial support from sponsors. Subsidies are also not requested, as is done often for philatelic events. There is cooperation with various collector clubs as described above.
An exception to this, is the Coin & Paper money Fair, where HERITAGE AUCTIONS EUROPE supports the event as main sponsor.
